I met her in a bar on 9th street.
She had on a sexy red dress that fit her frame perfectly. She walked through the door and caught my attention instantly. My eyes danced around her frame before they reached her face and noticed her gaze as she began to walk my way
Those brown eyes of hers…. Swiftly took over me… her smile illuminated the room and as she drew closer I turned around blushing… As I noticed the empty stool next to me
She took her place at my side and ordered four drinks
And slid two of them my way
“Take a shot” she said as she winked
I looked at her and smiled and took two at a time
And after a couple more drinks she led me to the dance floor .We stood still as the room danced around the two of us, Swiftly swerving to the rhythm of the tunes from the juke box
She put her arms around my neck and held on to me
And whispered in my ear drunkenly “I’ll hold onto you forever baby”
I pulled her closer and replied with sincerity “Sweetheart tell me this when you’re sober in the morning”
She giggled and swayed and handed me her room key as we made our way to the inn next door.
“Let’s take the elevator, I like to go for rides”
So we staggered through the retracting doors and made our way to the 5th floor. In the room she laid on the bed so seductively and I peeled each layer of her clothing off one by one with my teeth. We danced in sync with love between the sheets moving with the flow of our blood racing with our heartbeats.
She whispered once more “I’ll hold onto you forever baby”
And I pulled her close to me and replied with sincerity “Sweetheart tell me this when you’re sober in the morning”
She looked at me and giggled and said “I promise I will” with brown eyes so promising
And when the morning came I was awaken by “Housekeeping”
